Cynthia Ng was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She received a BA in Graphic Design from San Jose State University.
Cynthia’s creative steps began at the age of 9, when she won her first drawing contest award. From that point on, Cynthia dreamed to become an artist, which was partly influenced by her father’s artistic talent as a Chinese brush painter. Cynthia’s dream of being an artist changed during high school, when she started a graphic design internship with Japantown Art & Media Workshop. The internship made her realize that she had a passion to create corporate identities, by combining her background in illustration with her love for using computers.
Cynthia is a versatile graphic designer and illustrator with 10+ years experience in the fast-paced design industry with knowledge of print, web, flash, and various other media. She has extensive experience in working with financial and educational institutions. Cynthia specializes in corporate identity and enjoys working with Flash.
Cynthia’s interests include landscape photography, illustration, photography, tennis and Taekwondo. She admires the designers Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Raymond Loewry, and Josef Muller-Brockmann. The artists she admires most are Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Georgia O’keefe, and Georges Seurat.
